Tenerife diseña un Plan Director de Inteligencia Artificial para el turismo

Tenerife leads the technological innovation in the travel sector through its Plan Director Turístico de Inteligencia Artificial. This tool is pioneer in any destination of Spain and results key for the objective of being a digital node in the industry. Tres objetivos principales

Tras la distinción como Destino Turístico Inteligente –tras la estela de las ciudades de Málaga, Gijón, Benidorm y Santander–, Turismo de Tenerife desarrolló en 2021 el modelo Tenerife Smart Destination como guía stratégica para revalidar su posición de leadership.

This model places Tenerife as a future pole of knowledge within a natural touristic ecosystem. Based on an innovative environment, consolidated on a vanguard technological infrastructure that guarantees the sustainable development of the territory for current and future generations. A respectful destination with the 2030 agenda and the 18 SDGs, accessible universally, that facilitates the interaction and integration of its visitors with the natural and cultural environment and increases the quality of its experience in the Island. To bring the island progressively closer to this Smart model, Turismo de Tenerife is working on a strategic action map, among which is the Plan Director Turístico de Inteligencia Artificial. It was presented by the president of the Cabildo de Tenerife in December 2021, with the presence of the Secretary of State for Digitalization, Carme Artigas.
